Christian Tury is the Chairman of the Investment Committee of the FINAD Group and Managing Partner since 2013. He studied Sociology and Political Science at the University of Vienna, as well as European Studies at the Danube University in Krems. Driven by a strong interest in the financial sector, he was accepted into the Business Studies programme at the Vienna University of Economics and Business when he encountered Warren Buffet in Omaha, Nebraska, for the first time. A speculative application to Chase Manhattan Bank made the dream reality.
After holding various management positions at financial institutions like Chase Manhattan, Crédit Lyonnais, Security Kapitalanlage (a company associated with Grazer Wechsel-seitige), Christian started his own investment company, Tury Invest, in 2001 which is now fully integrated into FINAD. From 2013 to 2023 Christian was Chief Investment Officer of FINAD and is now the Chairman of the Investment Committee.
FINAD is a multi-family office and asset management boutique with offices in Zurich, Vienna, and Hamburg. Founded in 1976, the firm has remained entirely owned by its managing partners ever since.
