Dr. Ralf Gleisberg
Partner Private Equity and Portfolio Manager
Dr. Ralf Gleisberg is a Partner Private Equity and a Portfolio Manager at Sagard with 25 years’ experience in PE and Corporate Finance. Today he is responsible for the structuring and management of tailored PE programs and primary fund investments. Before joining Sagard, he was at Lombard Odier Group in Zurich and Paris and Dresdner Bank in Stuttgart. Ralf holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Freiburg University, Germany, and the University of Michigan, USA, and a PhD in Finance from Basel University, Switzerland. Ralf has regularly published articles and acted as business school lecturer.

Alexandre Falin
Partner Private Equity and Portfolio Manager
Alexandre Falin is a Partner Private Equity and a Portfolio Manager in the Private Equity team. He joined Sagard in 2010 to manage several of our large private equity mandates. In the following years, he broadened the scope of his activities to cover fundraising efforts in partnership with sale representatives, primarily in French-speaking regions. More recently, he became responsible for the semi-liquid evergreen strategy in Europe. Alexandre started his career in 2005 at BNP Paribas, Paris, developing systematic equity portfolios for high net worth individuals. He subsequently joined Harcourt, a hedge fund asset manager based in Zürich, becoming Head of Portfolio Risk. Alexandre holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the Ecole des Mines d'Alès, France, and a post-graduate degree in Financial Engineering from ESSEC, Paris. He is also a CAIA Charterholder.
