The original drink comes from Urban Lemonade - a creative team from Zurich with high standards in terms of quality, design and taste.
Their first lemonade was created for an exhibition on Japan at the Museum Rietberg. The tangy yuzu lemonade quickly gained a cult following thanks to the exotic citrus fruit that gave it its name, its no-frills recipe and its bold appearance - without the classic drinks logo. Instead, there were bubbling circles of color, lots of white space and a minimalist design. We're not the only ones who like it: the company was even nominated for the Swiss Design Award in 2023.
Urban Lemonade was founded by Urban Högger, a trained chef. Today, the label is run as a family business. Kevin Högger, Urban Högger's nephew, and Jalscha Römer are responsible for design and communication. The small team is on course for success and recently surprised their soda fans with new Calamansi Sour and Cocoa Sirsak editions.
By the way: our Liquidity lemonade is the Zurich original - only bottled exclusively for us and served under our own name. A lemonade that is just like us: straightforward, high-quality and refreshingly different.
